Your partner in Collective redress & Cartel Damages

Class actions – for example WAMCA, but also cases based on assignment or mandate – require a combination of substantive and procedural knowledge and skills. In addition, they require economic input, case management, data analysis, book building and litigation financing.

We master all these aspects and have the necessary resources and capacity. We therefore regularly act in class actions. Often for claimants, but we also assist the defensive side. We also assist various litigation funders and WAMCA foundations in the preliminary phase of class actions.

Our team is known for this expertise and is praised for its ability to always choose the right strategy. But also to keep these types of cases understandable and clear despite their complexity, and to manage them properly in cooperation with all parties involved.

Our experience

We represent claimants in the largest cartel damages actions pending in the Netherlands: the cartel damages claims on behalf of thousands of companies and governments against the largest airlines (Air cargo) and European truck manufacturers (Trucks). We have also reached several settlements in these cases.

We have also advised various parties on whether or not to litigate on the basis of the WAMCA (or the financing thereof), the set-up of these collective actions and the governance of the relevant claimants. We are also involved in several collective actions in the field of privacy, IT and personal data against American multinationals.

We have also successfully defended one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world in a collective action regarding product liability.
